Mark Cukro

President, Plus One Consulting

Mark is President of Plus One Consulting, Inc. and founder of Service Team Training and MaintenanceVideos.com, and is a nationally recognized speaker and resource in service team development, training, and leadership. His extensive industry credentials include CAPS, CAMT I and II, CPO, CPO Instructor, EPA Proctor, HVAC Excellence certifications, and NAAEI Instructor, and he contributed to the development of the new CAMT program. Prior to launching his own company, Mark served as Director of Service Team Development for Colonial Properties Trust, supporting 148 properties and more than 48,000 apartment homes. Outside the multifamily industry, Mark is a professional Jiu Jitsu coach, owns and operates a martial arts academy in Harrisburg, North Carolina, and invests in commercial and residential real estate.

Jenny DeSilva

HUD Technical Assistance Subcontractor

Jenny DeSilva brings more than 27 years of affordable housing experience and is a nationally recognized expert in HUD Multifamily Housing compliance. Her career has spanned contract administration, consulting, and training, including leadership roles with Southwest Housing Compliance Corporation, PMCS, Inc., and Blueprint Housing Solutions. Today, she serves as a HUD technical assistance subcontractor, providing nationwide support on TRACS and Secure Systems while contributing her expertise to HUD Working Groups and compliance software vendors. Jenny holds certifications as a Certified Occupancy Specialist, Tax Credit Specialist, and Certified Housing Manager.

Susie Ortega

Director of Compliance, M&L Compliance Management

A veteran in her field, Susie Ortega is currently the Director of Compliance at M&L Compliance Management (MLCM). She has over 20 years of experience in the affordable housing industry. Susie joined MLCM in 2022 and prior to that she was a Senior Housing Management Representative at PHFA for over 11 years. Susie holds multiple accreditations including HCCP, TaCC, CPM, ARE, and C3P. She is well versed in the compliance requirements of the LIHTC, HOME, HTF, RD, and HUD programs.

Karla Trammell

Director of Community Life and Community Impact, TREK Development

Karla Trammell is a master’s level licensed social worker with nearly 20 years of experience helping children and families build brighter futures through community-based and behavioral health services. She has brought her passion to the housing sector—where she’s seen firsthand how a healthy, supportive community environment helps families thrive. Previously, Karla served as the Director of Community Life for The Community Builders (TCB) in Cleveland, OH, leading efforts connected to a Choice Neighborhood Initiative grant. She currently serves in the role of Director of Community Life and Community Impact for Trek Development, focusing efforts on the intersection of housing and human connection. Karla brings energy, empathy, and real-world experience that helps strengthen impact across communities.

Kennedy Northrop

Prevention Coordinator and Advocate, Safe Journey

Kennedy Northrop is a Prevention Coordinator and Advocate with Safe Journey, bringing four years of experience in violence prevention, education, and community advocacy. With a bachelor’s degree in education and a background in teaching, she is passionate about equipping children and youth with the skills to build healthy relationships and recognize unhealthy patterns early. Kennedy has helped develop Safe Journey’s school-based prevention programming for students from pre-K through 12th grade, as well as the Orange Circles training series, which trained more than 500 community members in its first year. Through her work, she is committed to ensuring young people have access to trusted adults and resources while helping communities better recognize and respond to family and teen dating violence.

Savanna Trisket

Prevention Advocate, Safe Journey

Savanna Trisket is a Prevention Advocate with Safe Journey, bringing experience in domestic violence prevention, corrections, mental health services, substance abuse recovery, and supporting individuals impacted by trauma. At Safe Journey, she focuses on violence prevention and youth education, with a particular passion for helping middle and high school students understand healthy relationships, boundaries, empathy, and dating violence. Savanna has helped expand Safe Journey’s community reach through more than 300 presentations across Erie County over the past year, while also supporting at-risk youth through partnerships with probation and juvenile corrections. She is committed to creating a welcoming, judgment-free environment where young people feel comfortable seeking support and developing the tools they need to build healthier relationships and navigate challenges.

David Delvaux

Clinical Liason, Clarion Psychiatric Center

David Delvaux is a Clinical Liaison at Clarion Psychiatric Center with more than 35 years of experience in education, counseling, community-based services, and mental health. He began his career at The Watson Institute before spending 14 years with Paoletta Counseling Services, providing counseling to children, adolescents, and adults, and holds a master’s degree in Counseling and Rehabilitation Counseling from Clarion University. For the past 10 years, David has helped connect patients, providers, and community partners with services at Clarion Psychiatric Center while providing mental health training throughout Pennsylvania. Throughout his career, he has remained committed to promoting mental health awareness, building meaningful connections, and helping individuals and families access the care and resources they need.
